Itinerary

Day 01: Colombo – Dambulla

Your Lanka Tour Experts representative will warmly welcome you at Bandaranaike International Airport or your hotel in Colombo. Transfer to Dambulla. Visit Dambulla Golden Temple and Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its stunning Buddhist cave temples and murals. There are five main caves in the complex, each with its own unique collection of statues and paintings. These caves are ancient, dating back to more than 2,000 years ago! Check in to your hotel in Dambulla. Enjoy a sunset boat ride on Kandalama Lake, a beautiful reservoir surrounded by lush forests. Overnight stay in Dambulla.

Srinagar - Gulmarg -- Srinagar | Approx 2:25 Hrs per Way - 51 Km |

After breakfast, proceed towards Gulmarg. En route, enjoy the beautiful Tangmarg town and a scenic 14-kilometer drive to Gulmarg. Arrive early afternoon and begin a short tour by boarding the Gondola Cable Car System for an 8-minute ropeway ride. After spending an hour at the top, descend back to Gulmarg and later enjoy some horse riding. If time permits, visit Drung Waterfall on the way back. Return to Srinagar for dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Srinagar Houseboat

After breakfast, check out from the hotel and drive towards Dal Lake, covering any sightseeing spots missed on Day 1 due to time constraints. Later, check in at the houseboat. In the evening, enjoy a Shikara ride on the famous Dal Lake, followed by an overnight stay on the houseboat.

Srinagar - Pahalgam

After breakfast, proceed to Pahalgam, visiting the saffron fields of Pampore and the Awantipora ruins—an 1100-year-old temple of Lord Vishnu built by King Lalitaditya—while enjoying the beautiful countryside. Drive through pine forests, arrive at Pahalgam, and experience the serene Lidder stream. Later, take a walk along scenic trails offering magnificent mountain views. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Pahalgam Free local Sightseeing in Pahalgam

After breakfast, start your day soaking in the ambience of this charming valley town. You will be taken on excursions in and around Pahalgam Valley, including visits to Chandanwari (3,288 meters above sea level), Aru Valley, and Betab Valley. After the excursions, drive back to the hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Departure

Today after breakfast, with the sweet memories of Kashmir and we will transfer you to Srinagar airport for your onward journey to your respective destinations.
